Heavily influenced by Black Sabbath, Orange Goblin, Black Label Society, Led Zeppelin and many others along the line, Funeral Mantra are the latest sensation from the Doom/Stoner scene of Rome [Italy].
Their latest album titled ‘AFTERGLOW’ - recorded at the Moon Voice Studio [L'Aquila, Italy] - sounds like a rock-solid sound heavy-stoner blend with an old school and dynamic soul, with lyrics revolving around introspection, death, afterlife, reincarnation and dreamy substance induced scenarios.

Funeral Mantra recently signed a worldwide agreement with Sliptrick Records for the release of ‘AFTERGLOW’, available now on all download and streaming platforms as well as physical retail in Europe [USA and ROW: 2016, March the 11th].

In realtà nella musica dei Funeral Mantra c’è ben altro, il loro sound appartiene all’heavy, nonostante i rimandi stoner e sludge non mancano, anzi. Il livello qualitativo e tecnico dei Funeral Mantra è di tutto rispetto, nulla stona, un sound granitico, di scuola southern.
